Job Specifics

Duties Description * Assist in documenting and updating process flows and narratives for existing systems.
* Create mock-ups or recommendations for improving legacy forms based on approved digital journeys.
* Support application testing by executing test scripts and documenting issues.
* Help develop user guides and basic system documentation.
* Conduct research to support a Business Analysis knowledge base, including resources related to government AI applications.
* Attend project meetings, capture notes and action items, and organize information using Notebook LM.
The internship is designed to provide practical exposure to business analysis practices, process documentation, application testing, and knowledge management within a government technology environment.

Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Be actively enrolled in a New York State college, university, or graduate program, or be a resident of New York State, attending a college, university or graduate program outside of New York State*
• Have completed a minimum of one (1) year as a student at a degree-granting two or four-year college or university (completion of one year's worth of academic credits over a longer period may qualify part-time students for participation in the program), or be a currently enrolled graduate student or accepted in a graduate degree program
• Have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0, or the letter grade equivalent

* Basic understanding of business processes and documentation
* Ability to analyze information and summarize findings clearly
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (Word/Docs, Excel/Sheets, PowerPoint/Slides)
* Ability to take organized meeting notes and document action items
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to follow structured processes and instructions
* Basic familiarity with process diagrams or workflow documentation
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
* Interest in technology, digital services, or government innovation initiatives
