Job Specifics
Duties Description The duties of this position will include but are not limited to the following (depending on the work site):
Parks & Recreation Aide 1 ($16.00/hour):
o May be assigned to work in the Pro Shop, Golf maintenance Office/Ticket booth, Concessions, Interpretation, Maintenance, or Boathouse, performing duties such as: checking in golfers or campers, customer service; mowing, weedeating, groundskeeping (must be able to lift 50lbs), golf course rule enforcement, cleaning carts, cashiering duties, small maintenance projects; mowing, groundskeeping, cabin cleaning, cleaning restrooms; checking in campers, money handling, office duties; must be able to lift heavy objects; food preparation; historical interpretation; general clerical duties, computer tasks, etc.
Parks & Recreation Aide 2 ($17.62/hour):
o May be assigned to perform the duties listed in PRA 1, in addition to the following: working in the Camp Store or Night Security, responsible for golf course rule enforcement, cleaning carts, cashiering duties, small maintenance projects, medium-heavy labor, basic electric and plumbing, working evening shift, etc.
Parks & Recreation Aide 3 ($18.19/hour):
o May be assigned to perform the duties listed in PRA 2, in addition to supervising lower-level staff, creating employee schedule, maintaining inventory, completing written reports, etc.
Parks & Recreation Aide 4 ($19.04/hour):
o May be assigned to perform the duties listed in PRA 3, in addition to: equipment operation, working morning and weekend shifts, must be able to lift 50lbs, golf course experience, supervision of concessions employees, inventory, etc.
Parks & Recreation Aide 5 ($20.45/hour):
o May be assigned to perform the duties listed in PRA 4, in addition to: heavy equipment operation, prepare onboarding paperwork, processing invoices and permits, etc.
Parks & Recreation Aide 6 ($21.57/hour):
o May be assigned to perform the duties listed in PRA 5, in addition to: act as a shift or area supervisor, either under the direction of a facility manager or in the absence of permanent staff.
