Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications Eligible for reassignment or meet the following qualifications for non-competitive appointment: Possession of a valid Class A Driver's License issued by the New York State Deparment of Motor Vehicles and meet the requirements of the New York State Thruway Authority for tandem trailer operation with 5 years tamdem experience. Appointees to these titles will also be required to obtain and maintain any driver's license endorsements required under the NYS DOT regulations for the transportation of specific types of products in the course of their normal duties (for example-hazardus material endorsement).

Duties Description Operation of Tractor trailer with two trailers hitched in tandem of a full time basis.
