Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications Nurse 2 Psychiatric – A registered nurse in NYS with current registration to practice. One year of post-licensure registered clinical experience including six months post-licensure specialized nursing experience with individuals, at least 50% of whom have been diagnosed with mental illness, alcoholism, or chemical dependency ~OR~ eighteen months of post-licensure registered nurse general clinical experience.**
Nurse 1 - A registered nurse in NYS with current registration to practice.**
**Candidate must be eligible and maintain eligibility for full and unconditional participation in the Medicaid and Medicare program. Failure to maintain licensure, certification and Medicaid/Medicare eligibility will result in the termination of employment.

Duties Description Duties include, but are not limited to the following: Dispense medications, pick up doctor’s orders, perform treatments as ordered, perform RN tasks related to the admission of clients including RN assessments, giving report to incoming shift. Assist with intakes, admissions and discharges. Provide medical and substance abuse education groups.

Additional Comments Salary Range for Nurse 1 - $42,833 - $58,730

Salaries for Nurse 2 Psy and Nurse 1 include $12,871 Geographic Pay and $3,026 Location Pay
