Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications SUMMER TEMP POSITION, would like to fill up to 4 by 5/19/17

Two years of experience in maintenance or mechanical work under the supervision of a skilled tradesman or completion of an appropriate two-year technical school course. Candidates are expected to be qualified to use negative
pressure respirators. Valid NYS Driver’s license required.

Duties Description .
Title: Maintenance Assistant (Dorm Maintenance), Hourly / Temp
Location: Facilities / DORM MAINTENANCE
Salary: $12 - $18 per hour
Grade: NS
Hours: various / 40 hours / to be determined at interview
Duration: Temporary Hourly Approx 3-4 Months

Ability to perform semiskilled maintenance and repair activities in the University dormitories, lift 75 pounds, properly use hand and power tools, layout and install closet shelving, patching masonry walls and painting. Valid NYS Driver’s license required
