Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications Applicant must pass a typing test and be able to accurately (95%) type 30 words per minute.

Duties Description Support DER secretarial staff by providing clerical support to several staff members. Tasks include: Knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, grammar and punctuation for typing of emails, proofing and formatting letters, memos, reports and forms, merging documents for small mass mailings, and scheduling meetings. Also, daily logging and data entry of bulk storage registrations; folding and stuffing of envelopes for mass mailing renewal registrations; copying, scanning, and mailing documents; answering phones and directing callers; distribution of mail; sorting and distributing Certified Fit Test Cards and training course certificates for field staff; and ordering office supplies.
