Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications Must be able to physically perform the duties of the position.

Duties Description The Saratoga Tree Nursery is looking for a Laborer to perform ground maintenance duties which include mowing grass in the summer and snow removal in the winter. The Laborer will operate and maintain equipment, including hand tools, vacuums, power washers, trimmers, etc. The goal is to keep the buildings, grounds, and fleet in a clean and orderly condition.

Additional responsibilities will include the following:
- Clean, stock, and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning etc.)
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs of repairs.
- Stock and maintain supply rooms (toilet paper, paper towels, etc.)
- Wash and clean vehicles and equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.

Will be required to lift objects up to 70 pounds, work effectively with and around other staff, and follow all health and safety regulations.

Additional Comments Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions. Weekends and holidays may be required. Must be able to lift and move objects up to 70 pounds.

This is a seasonal, hourly position ending no later than 3/31/19.
Summer hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm
Winter hours: 7:00am - 3:00pm (due to snow removal)
