Duties Description As a Recreation Assistant, under the supervision of professional treatment staff, your duties will include:
• Collaborating with treatment team and planning recreation and rehabilitation activities
• Teaching and coaching individuals on sports, games, and other group activities and encouraging participation
• Observing and recording individuals’ responses to activities
Minimum Qualifications Two years of experience in providing direct care to individuals receiving care and/or treatment in facilities and programs.

This position is eligible for a downstate adjustment of $3,400.
