Minimum Qualifications Occupational Therapist:
1. Must currently be a permanent Occupational Therapist, Grade 16;
OR
2. Must be Licensed and currently Registered to practice as an Occupational Therapist in New York State AND have one year of post-licensure occupational therapy experience (To apply, you must submit a NYS-APP)
Travel will be required
Duties Description Occupational Therapist:
- Perform evaluations, develop treatment plans and deliver Occupational Therapy interventions per NYS Licensure.
- Assist the Discipline Coordinator to meet O.T. based needs of individuals throughout the DDSO.
-Participate in various aspects of adaptive devices and assistive technology including identification of individual need, develop design, assist in fabrication and installation, individual and staff training, maintenance and simple repairs as needed.

Preference will be given to individuals with a working knowledge of computers, word processing and use of internet.
The assignment of PS&T employees will be made in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding between PEF and Hudson Valley DDSO regarding the posting of job vacancies.
