Minimum Qualifications Permanent status as a Principal Clerk, G-14 and eligible for transfer, OR Eligible to transfer via 70.1 of the Civil Service Law (i.e. Agency Program Aide, Principal Account Clerk, etc.).

Duties Description The Principal Clerk would be assigned to the Procurement Unit. The incumbent would supervise clerical staff responsible for the review, processing, recording, and maintaining state forms, and related documentation to support the procurement process including contracts and purchase requisitions. The incumbent would be working with State Operations and Local Assistance funding, would also provide guidance and technical assistance to unit staff and others, rely to written correspondence and telephone inquiries; prepare/compile information and statistical reports and other duties as required.
