Minimum Qualifications Applicants must have one year of permanent competitive service as Budget Examiner, M/C-18, OR one year of permanent competitive service in a title eligible to transfer under section 52.6 of Civil Service Law.

Duties Description The incumbent will be involved in all aspects of identifying, developing, coordinating, and delivering training to DOB and hosted agency staff. The incumbent would be responsible for the following:

• Conduct in-person classroom training sessions as needed;
• Manage all aspects of Budget Examination Skills Training and other training opportunities targeted to budget examiners;
• Work with Training Director and Division managers to identify all staff training needs and develop strategies for meeting those needs;
• Work with GOER to obtain certification in courses such as supervisory skills, conflict resolution, and communications;
• Identify and develop on-line training opportunities;
• Create and update activities in the SLMS, and maintain training data;
• Deliver computer training courses as needed; and
• Work with Training Director and other Division staff to determine schedules, announce programs, and track participation.
