Minimum Qualifications Eligible for a lateral transfer or eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law by having one year of permanent competitive service in an appropriate title. Duties Description The Program Aide will work in the Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA) Bureau of Human Resources. Duties will include, but not limited to, the following:

• Create job postings based on criteria provided by program areas and ensure they meet accessibility requirements.

• Publish postings on OTDA’s intranet and internet, StateJobsNY, and outside sites as needed.

• Review and qualify candidate applications to job postings, answer candidate questions related to the job postings, and send out posting response memoranda, as needed;

• Track and process probation reports for the Agency. Submit required transactions needed to maintain accurate employee records of all probationary employees. Create, prepare and email monthly overdue probation reports for each of the OTDA program areas.

• Track and process all outside activity requests for the Agency.

• Prepare various letters and reports, as required.

Additional Comments A full-time contingent permanent appointment will be made. If certified by Civil Service, mandatory reemployment list candidates must be considered first for appointment to this title. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
