Minimum Qualifications Transfer in title: Current or previous permanent service as a DA1 – Salary GR 11/12;
70-1 Promotion/Transfer qualifications: Current or previous one-year permanent service in a qualifying title at
SG 9 or above. Example LPN or DSA and any other comparable titles. Simultaneous to this posting the

Duties Description The candidate filling the position of the Developmental Assistant 1 will work under the guidance of the
Developmental Assistant 3 and the Treatment Team Leader in a community setting.
• The incumbent will perform a wide variety of tasks in a community-based residence. Responsibilities
include but are not limited to the following:
• The incumbent will work as part of a team to maintain the general health, well-being and safety of the
service recipients.
• Supervise direct care professionals to implement services according to plans and preferences.
• Generate work schedules for the residence, keep track of required trainings and schedule to remain in
compliance.
• Follow, implement, and enforce all DDSO internal operational systems including but not limited to
attendance, staff utilization, incident management, upkeep of physical plant, fire safety compliance
• supervise direct support professionals to maintain the physical plant in a home like atmosphere.
• Supervise supplies, generate orders for the needs of the home
• Organize and keep personal spending for individuals for record reviews.
• Attend meetings, trainings and will be responsible to document meetings for staff under their supervision.
