Minimum Qualifications Reassignment - Currently in the title and an employee of DEC

Reinstatement Eligible - Previously held the title on a permanent competitive basis or held a title as indicated under the transfer eligible section on a permanent competitive basis.

Transfer Eligible - One year of permanent competitive service at Salary Grade 11 or higher and:
Transfer eligible under Section 70.1 - permanent competitive service as an Accountant Aide, Accountant Aide Trainee 2, Business Document Specialist 2, Stores & Mail Operations Supervisor, Principal Mail and Supply Clerk, Principal Offset Print Machine Operator, Principal Stores Clerk, Program Aide, Administrative Assistant 1.
Additional titles SG 11 or higher which qualify can be found on the Department of Civil Service website, search "GOT-IT".
Duties Description • Duties will vary and may include the following:
• Work with staff to support efficient administration of regional components of divisional programming
• Make recommendations to improve program implementation
• Review, maintain and update databases
• Assist with personnel transactions
• Budget tracking
• Preparation of reports for submittal to other parties
• Supervisory duties as assigned
• Coordinate coverage of duties with other Program Aides
• Other duties and projects as assigned by Regional Administration
• Specific duties will be discussed at the interview
Additional Comments Must be able to lift and move objects up to 10 pounds.
Telecommuting may be available, will be discussed at interview.

For new State employees appointed to graded positions, the annual salary is the hiring rate (beginning of the Salary Range) of the position. Promotion salaries are calculated by the NYS Office of the State Comptroller in accordance with NYS Civil Service Law, OSC Payroll rules and regulations and negotiated union contracts.
