Minimum Qualifications Transfer Qualifications: Any current Developmental Assistant 3.
Any permanent employee eligible for a 70.1 transfer.
Anyone eligible to take the Civil Service examination for Developmental Assistant 3 (Provisional Appointment).

Minimum Qualifications: You must be a qualified employee of the New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities and have had permanent competitive or 55 b/55-c service as: a Developmental Assistant 1, Developmental Assistant 1 (In Residence Model), *Developmental Assistant 2, Senior Licensed Practical Nurse 2, or Developmental Disabilities Secure Care Treatment Aide 2. After one year of the service described above, successful candidates will be qualified for appointment from the eligible list.

Duties Description POSITION DESCRIPTION/PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:
Under the supervision of a Community Treatment Team Leader, the successful candidate:
• Supervise mid-level supervisors.
• Oversee Clinton County support staff.
• Manage site(s) NPS budget resources.
• Manage FTE staffing allocations per site.
• Oversee community inclusion opportunities and allocated funds for Individuals at each site.
• Manage individuals’ personal funds and ensures compliance with all related agency policies and procedures.
• Maintain site(s) physical plant and ensures all related health and safety issues are addressed and regulatory compliance is met.
• Complete monthly reports to the Team Leader, i.e., Minor Incident logs, Fire Rounds medication error logs, Vehicle Safety Reports, Fire Plans, monthly reports, etc.
• Have knowledge of and apply agency policies and procedures regarding personnel and regulatory compliance matters.
• Communicate regulatory with supervisors, IRA staff and clinicians on Individuals issues and daily IRA operations.
• Coordinate and provide required staff training and monitors records for the same.
• Act as a role model for staff and Individuals and actively participate in direct service delivery.
• Serve as a liaison with community vendors and volunteer services.
• As assigned, provides oversight and direction of all IRA staff to ensure implementation of Individuals Residential Habilitation plans.
• As indicated, plan and attend staff and Individuals’ meetings.
• Ensure regulations and policies are adhered to; participate in surveys; implement subsequent plans of corrective action.
• Participate in special projects and assignments as directed by the Team Leader.
• Will become a trainer in certain areas.
• Attend investigative training and complete assigned investigations.
• Other duties as assigned.
