Reassignment Qualifications:
Current Department of Labor employees only, with at least one year of permanent, contingent-permanent, or 55b/c service in an Auditor 2 (Unemployment Insurance) if you have less than one year, you must be reachable on the current Auditor 2 (Unemployment Insurance) eligible list for this location, if one exists.
Provisional Qualifications: DOL EMPLOYEES ONLY
You must be a qualified employee of New York State Department of Labor and have had one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service as an Auditor 1, Auditor Trainee 1, Auditor Trainee 2, Data Processing Fiscal Systems Auditor 1, Data Processing Fiscal Systems Auditor Trainee 1, or Data Processing Fiscal Systems Auditor Trainee 2. The appointed candidate would have to take, pass and be reachable on the next holding of the examination to be appointed permanently.

70.1 TRANSFER QUALIFICATIONS:
One year of permanent, contingent permanent, or 55b/c service as an:
• Auditor 2 Sales Tax – SG – 23
• Financial Services Examiner 3 – SG – 25
• Financial Services Examiner 4 – SG – 27
*Consecutive transfers cannot result in advancement of more than two salary grades.

Duties Description STANDARD DUTIES:
Under the supervision of the Auditor 3, the Auditor 2 will support the Auditor 3 in the assurance of security and confidentiality of protected data received through data sharing agreements between NYS DOL Unemployment Insurance and various state and federal agencies. Assist in required updates to policy, procedures, and agency training for compliance with federal requirements for safeguarding data. Ensure user access and the information maintained for compliance is complete and accurate. Assist in providing data for, and in completing required processes, reports, studies, inspections, and reviews for Federal data sharing programs. Coordinate efforts to ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken to address any findings or errors resulting from completed internal or external reviews. Participate in the review of outside contractors. (This is to meet the required TFA 2004 Federal Requirement. If NYSDOL at some point does business with a contractor who will have access to Federal Tax information, an onsite review will be required.). Supervise the Auditor 1 Fiscal systems and complete special assignments as requested.
