Duties Description Position Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Supervise between 1-2 staff who will support the successful candidate in the following tasks;
• Conduct data entry and data quality assurance of planned program using enterprise financial software systems (OPPM, eSTIP). Produce reports as necessary and support Program Manager in the analysis of such reports;
• Interpret project-related information from a variety of reporting mechanisms to track project development progress and provide information to relevant staff;
• Support the Program Manager in representing the NYSDOT at Metropolitan Planning Organization meetings, as well as other inter- and intra- agency meetings;
• Support the Program Manager and the Asset Manager in the development and delivery of the program, including the preparation and tracking of authorization requests for project phases and the obligation of NYS and federal funding;
• Prepare written communication in an organized, clear and concise manner;
Responsibilities may include serving a role within the Incident Command System to support the department’s response to regional and statewide emergency situations.
Minimum Qualifications To be considered for permanent appointment, candidates must be reachable on the current Civil Service eligible list or be eligible for reassignment or transfer in accordance with Civil Service Law.
