Duties Description STANDARD DUTIES:
Senior UI Accounts Examiners are supervisory positions, each responsible for supervising UI Accounts Examiners and clerical support staff. The job duties include planning, coordinating, and directing Unit operations, training of staff, preparation of performance reviews, quality review of Examiner work, review of employer refunds, and handling personnel matters. In addition to their supervisory duties, the Senior UI Accounts Examiners are called upon to propose procedures, participate on modernization work groups, testify in Hearing cases, and work the more complex UI tax account adjustments that require knowledge and experience to handle. Senior UI Accounts Examiners oversee all of the Units, which include specialized Units for Reimbursable Employers, Advanced Experience Rating, Audits, Training, and the Bank Unit.
Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Reassignment Qualifications:
Current Department of Labor employees only, with at least one year of permanent, contingent-permanent, or 55b/c service as a Senior Unemployment Insurance Accounts Examiner title, if you have less than one year, you must be reachable on the current Senior Unemployment Insurance Accounts Examiner eligible list for this location, if one exists.
Provisional Qualifications:
Current Department of Labor employees only, with at least one year of permanent, contingent-permanent, or 55b/c service as an Unemployment Insurance Accounts Examiner. The appointed candidate would have to take, pass and be reachable on the next holding of the examination to be appointed permanently.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to initiate and maintain relationships across a diverse set of stakeholders.
Additional Comments This position may require a fingerprint background check prior to appointment.

Candidates with no previous state service will begin at the starting rate of the salary range listed above.
