Duties Description The New York State Department of Financial Services seeks to build an equitable, transparent, and resilient financial system that benefits individuals and supports business. The Department of Financial Services is seeking candidates for the position of Information Technology Specialist 4 in the Technology Bureau. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Leads a team of service delivery professionals;
• Plans, manages, and executes service delivery projects;
• Ensures adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards;
• Collaborates with clients to understand their needs and requirements;
• Monitors and reports on service delivery performance;
• Identifies and implements process improvements to enhance service delivery; and
• Stays up-to-date with industry best practices and trends.

Minimum Qualifications Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience in service management and service delivery frameworks and methodologies.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.

Transfer: Candidates must have one year of permanent competitive service in a title eligible for transfer via Sections 70.1 or 52.6 of the Civil Service Law.
