Minimum Qualifications One year of permanent competitive service as an Information Technology Specialist 2 OR in a position at the G-16 level or higher deemed administrative under Section 52.6 of the Civil Service Law. The transfer cannot be a second consecutive transfer resulting in an advancement of more than two grades.

Duties Description These Information Technology Specialist 2 (Prog) positions will be assigned to the Human Services Cluster’s Project and Portfolio Management Office (PPMO) in the Testing Unit, hosted by the Department of Labor.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Build, validate and execute application release test plans.
• Build, validate and execute test scenarios based on existing and create use cases working with the Business Solutions and Business units.
• Coordinate and report testing activities for all releases.
• Build automated scripts to support the manual test plans created for an application release.

Additional Comments This is an Office of Information Technology Services (ITS) position in the Human Services Cluster, and will be located on the Harriman State Office Campus in Building 12, Albany. Some positions may require fingerprinting.
