Reachable on the Education Director 1 Civil Service eligible list

Or

One year permanent competitive service as an Education Director 1 or eligible for a 70.1 transfer.

Or

Provisional qualifications: A permanent or provisional Principal, Supervisor, School Administrator and Supervisor or permanent School District Administrator certificate AND one year of administrative or supervisor experience in education.

Duties Description Plan, direct and coordinate the educational activities in an Office of Children and Family Services facility.

Interview, hire, supervise and evaluate the facility education staff.

Supervise curriculum development.

Maintain an in-service training program.

Prepare requests for funds and administer the budget for the facility education program.

Additional duties will be discussed in detail during the interview.
