Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must have one year of permanent competitive or 55b/c service as a Program Research Specialist 3 OR one year of permanent competitive or 55b/c service in a title SG-21 or above that is eligible for transfer under Section 52.6 or 70.1 of the Civil Service Law OR must be reachable on the Program Research Specialist 3 eligible list.

Duties Description • Manage the OASAS Registry of Evidence-based Programs and Strategies (EBPS) for substance abuse prevention to support 180n funded programs in meeting their OASAS and federally required EBP performance standards.
• Manage the work of the OASAS Evidence Based Program and Strategy Review Panel, including preparation, planning, operations and reporting of results. This includes operation of an online communications and document sharing information system to support the EBP Review Panel process.
• Conduct research literature reviews to keep OASAS updated on new outcome research results, communicate with researchers and program developers to promote cultural relevance and guide program adaptations.
• Conduct analyses of prevention program data, and developing tabular reports and special issue reports for policy makers and other stakeholders in the prevention service system.
• Serve as the lead on working with Division of Outcome Management and System Improvement (DOMSI) staff on complying with all provider data system requests for information and ad-hoc reporting of provider data.
• Work with DOMSI staff to design improvements addressing the annual planning, data collection, reporting or performance evaluation and accountability functions of the prevention reporting system.
•Serve as the lead on developing annual reports on provider service delivery and developing geographic data mapping capabilities.
• Employee may be assigned to priority and/or specialized projects.
