 Duties Description Duties include, but are not limited to:
•	Responsible for the preparation of various reports including Financial Status Reports and correspondence to federal agencies on assigned federal programs.
•	Assist unit head with administrative duties, staff training; independently provide administrative support to other managers and workgroups as needed to coordinate workflow.
•	Develop internal operational procedures for assigned functional areas to assist staff in carrying out their duties.
•	Directly supervise assigned teams, complete performance reviews in a timely manner, and administer corrective action under the direction of supervisors and management.
•	Prepare and provide information to supervisors and Division Deputy Director in response to Division of the Budget inquiries.
•	Prepare forms and budgetary allocation schedules for use by agency and grantee/contractor staff. Forms, and allocation schedules include those needed for the administration of federal and state funded programs.
•	Supervise the review, evaluation and fiscal approval of Four-Year Plans and Annual Implementation Plans submitted by the statewide local Area Agencies on Aging (AAA) across 59 counties. Prepares comments and recommendations in partnership with agency program staff.
•	Supervise the review and approval of grantee claims for reimbursement.
•	Oversees budgetary reconciliations and preparation of adjusting entries using the Statewide Financial System (SFS), and the logging, review, and follow-up of AAA audit reports.
•	Assist with special projects on behalf of division management, and in partnership with program staff, involving research, analysis, coordination, and/or synthesis of information.
•	Prepare and/or coordinate annual and supplemental budget documents within established budgetary and operational regulations and guidelines; gather and compile budget information from program staff; prepare budget adjustments and recommendations, including analyzing and/or estimating resources and needs. 
•	Preform other duties as required. 
 Minimum Qualifications Current New York State employee with one year or more of qualifying permanent service in a position allocated to a Grade 21 or above and eligible for transfer under Section 52.6 of the Civil Service Law. 
NOTE: IN ORDER TO AWARD THE PROPER CREDIT FOR WORK EXPERIENCE, RESUMES MUST INCLUDE MONTH AND YEAR FOR START AND END DATES. IF ANY OF THIS EXPERIENCE IS LESS THAN FULL TIME YOU MUST INDICATE THE AVERAGE NUMBER OF HOURS WORKED PER WEEK.  
 Additional Comments •	Travel may be required (approximately 5%), including during evening and weekends, depending on mission and assignment. 
•	Possession and maintenance of a valid Driver’s License issued by the NYS Department of Motor Vehicle is required, or otherwise demonstrate the capacity to meet the transportation needs of the job.
