 Duties Description Duties include but are not limited to: 
•	Sweep, strip, and wax plant floors using both hand equipment and floor machine
•	Collect and dispose of all trash and recycling from receptacles throughout the plants and offices 
•	Clean bathrooms and breakrooms including tables, sinks, and toilets; Stock supplies as necessary
•	Clean and gas up vehicles as needed
•	Move heavy supplies, furniture, and equipment
•	Pick up and deliver parts
•	Clean heating and utilities areas and cleans and polishes operating equipment
•	Clean parts and equipment that are being overhauled
•	Paint heating, ventilating and air-conditioning (HVAC) equipment and related areas
•	Perform specific tasks as directed in performing maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment, steam, gas and water lines, and other related plumbing, heating or ventilation equipment; lubricate machinery in the boiler, chiller, pump and mechanical equipment rooms according to schedule

•	participate in in-service training courses and on-the-job instruction in the fundamentals of utility plant operation and engineering. 
•	Participate in in-service training courses and on-the-job instruction in the fundamentals of utility plant operation and engineering.
•	Perform specific tasks in operating utility plant equipment including heating, ventilating and air-conditioning equipment to learn operating procedures
•	Assist in maintaining pools. 
 Minimum Qualifications There are no education or experience qualifications for this class. 
Applicants must be physically able to perform the tasks of the position and be able to understand and carry out written or oral instructions.
