Duties Description As an Administrative Assistant 2 for the Office of Web Services, duties include but are not limited to:

• Take ownership of customer inquiries by monitoring and responding to users through DMV’s Right Now Services (RNS) or by contacting customers via phone, email or by mail.

• Track and respond to buck slips.

• Track customer issues, recognize trends, and alert Web Services staff of issues with DMV transactions.

• Give information to callers, take messages, and make call transfers.

• Submit ITS requests.

• Maintain schedules and event calendars; schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and interviews; get references and send out declinations.

• Follow up on personnel matters or furniture, office, and equipment repairs.

• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, mailing various items, prepare packages, and arrange shipment.

• Use email, database, spreadsheet, and word processing applications.

• Operate office equipment such as printers, scanners, and copiers and arrange for repairs as needed.

• Make travel arrangements as needed; Submit travel expense reports.

• Complete forms in accordance with agency procedures.

• Compose and distribute correspondence and reports.

• Search for information using various sources including the internet.

• Order and distribute supplies.

Minimum Qualifications To be eligible for the Administrative Assistant 2, G-15 position you must meet one of the following conditions as detailed below:

1. Eligible for appointment from the Administrative Assistant 2, G-15 eligible list.

2. One year of permanent service as an Administrative Assistant 2, G-15 and eligible for lateral 70.1 transfer.

2. In a G-13 or higher title that meets criteria for 70.1 upward or lateral transfer.

Additional Comments Hours of the position will be discussed at the time of interview, including questions regarding Flextime, AWS/Compressed work week and Telecommuting.
