Duties Description • Monitor staff performance to ensure compliance with established procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Address work related issues by providing guidance, coaching, and corrective action when necessary.
• Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of goods, ensuring accuracy at every stage of inventory flow.
• Plan and maintain efficient storeroom layout and coordinate the movement of goods to optimize space and workflow.
• Supervise incoming shipments, verifying alignment with invoices and purchase orders.
• Schedule and manage the timely receipt and distribution of goods to meet user needs.
• Inspect outgoing shipments to confirm order accuracy, proper packaging, and adherence to loading procedures.
• Support staff during physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
• Review and validate daily inventory transactions and reports within the computerized inventory system.
• Complete or oversee required forms, reports, and system entries to maintain accurate inventory control documentation.
• Update system records to reflect changes in storage locations, stock levels, and item availability.
• Communicate with users regarding item substitutions when standard items are unavailable.
• Coordinate with Calculations Clerk 2 to procure items needed on an emergency basis.
• Address user complaints related to product quality or quantity and escalate issues to Calculations Clerk 2 when appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications TRANSFER QUALIFICATIONS FOR CURRENT STATE EMPLOYEES: Current New York State employee with one year or more of qualifying permanent service allocated to a Grade 10 or above and eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the NYS Civil Service Law.

ADDITIONAL PAY INFORMATION:
The salary range for this position includes all applicable annual components of pay which are:
Base Pay Range from Hiring Rate $46,336 up to Job Rate $66,461.
Recruitment & Retention Pay: $7,000.
