Duties Description Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Review, audit, and process financial documents, including purchase orders, vouchers, payroll records, and travel expenses.
• Supervise and train staff. Assign work, review output for accuracy, and provide input for performance evaluations.
• Compile financial or statistical data from various sources to prepare comprehensive reports, spreadsheets, and summaries for review.
• Reconcile accounts, track expenditures against regional or departmental budgets, and identify resolving discrepancies.
• Serve as a point of contact for staff and vendors regarding billing, payroll, or procurement inquiries.
• Deliver check deposits to the bank.
• Maintain organized and accurate electronic and physical files in accordance with records retention policies.

Minimum Qualifications The Civil Service Eligible list for this title will be canvassed.

Reassignment Qualifications:
Current NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation Employees only, with at least one year of permanent or contingent-permanent qualifying service as an Office Assistant 3 (Calculations); if you have less than one year, you must be reachable on the current Office Assistant 3 (Calculations) eligible list for this location.

70.1 Transfer Qualifications:
At least one year of permanent or contingent-permanent qualifying service as a Grade 12 or higher. The service must be in a title that Civil Service has deemed transfer eligible to the position.

Note: The transfer cannot be a second consecutive transfer resulting in an advancement of more than two salary grades.

Additional Comments Operating Needs:
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license that allows the candidate to operate a vehicle in New York State as a term and condition of employment.
• Must be experienced with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
