Duties Description The MEE 3 will work within the Division of Eligibility and Marketplace Integration in the Bureau of Community Enrollment and Eligibility Processing, Duplicate CIN Unit. The candidate will perform the following duties:
Research suspected Duplicate CINs and take appropriate action,
Maintain and update tracking reports, conduct quality assurance reviews and assist in developing procedures for specific case scenarios,
Create and maintain specific spreadsheets used for tracking Unit’s work
Create and update reports from departmental data, and
Supervise subordinate staff
Minimum Qualifications Reassignment: Current New York State Department of Health employee with permanent or contingent-permanent status as a Medicaid Eligibility Examiner 3, Grade 17
Preferred Qualifications: Preferred candidates will have strong analytical skills and attention to details and will also have good oral and written communication skills. Candidates should have proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access), the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and ability to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines. Professional experience in public health insurance programs, including New York's Medicaid, Medicare and/or Child Health Plus and supervisory experience is a plus.
