Duties Description Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
1. Contribute to the development of surveys and interview guides to determine
experience of recipients of HESC financial aid grants and scholarships.
2. Help coordinate data collection.
3. Conduct one-on-one interviews or assist with moderating focus groups.
4. Assist in the development of qualitative coding frameworks, definitions, and
codebook.
5. Assist with the preparation and management of qualitative databases.
6. Assist with identifying common themes on data gathered.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications • Currently enrolled in a graduate program, pursuing a degree in Education,
Anthropology, Sociology, Political Science, Psychology, History, Government,
Public Policy, Public Health, Marketing/Market Research, or a related field.
• A Bachelor's degree in Education, Anthropology, Sociology, Political Science,
Psychology, History, Government, Public Policy, Public Health or related fields.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Familiarity with qualitative research methods and data analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Enthusiasm for education and a desire to contribute to meaningful initiatives.
Additional Comments *NOTE: Qualifying candidates must be available to work part-time through the end of the current semester and full-time, 37.5 hours per week once the current semester ends. It is anticipated that candidates will begin full-time employment mid to late May.
