Minimum Qualifications Interested candidates must currently be serving in a Information Technology Specialist 2 (Programming) title OR be eligible to transfer under Section 52.6 of the Civil Service Law.
52.6 Transfer:
Candidates must have one year of permanent, competitive service in a qualifying title allocated to salary grade 16 or higher.
Duties Description FileNet System Administration
• Assist with the maintenance of the FileNet System
• Assist with the installation and configuration of FileNet software
• Assist with applying updates and patches to FileNet software
• Monitor FileNet system communication, performance, and usage
• Create and maintain system documentation
• Provide technical FileNet support to users, other administrators, and integrators/developers
• Troubleshoot FileNet system issues
• Deploy custom FileNet code
• Assist with loading of data into FileNet system
FileNet Workplace Development and Support
• Assist with the development/support of custom FileNet Workplace Applications
• Create and maintain application documentation
• Assist with gathering User Requirements
• Assist with user testing
• Assist with the bulk load of archived data

• Experience in analysis and design, and the ability to interact with both technical and business staff.

• Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications.
