Duties Description Reporting to NYSIF’s Assistant Director Executive Project Management Office, the Project Manager 2 participates in NYSIF’s Executive Project Management Office (EPMO) responsible for the enterprise-wide implementation of executive initiatives and business process improvement analysis and implementation.
The Project Manager 2 (PM2) will independently oversee projects of small to medium scope and support Assistant Director of EPMO in managing all areas of a larger project. PM2 will develop detailed scope statements, document project requirements, develop project schedules, and coordinate project activities utilizing LEAN principles, when applicable. Present project plans, resource needs as well as identify risks and potential solutions to the Director of the EPMO. Design and implement quality metrics to analyze and monitor project performance to improve customer service, productivity and sustain continual improvement across the Agency.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates Degree or higher
Four Years Demonstrated Project Management Experience
Experience in NYS LEAN concepts and methodologies preferred
