Salary RangeFrom $67703 to $85635 Annually
Minimum Qualifications Permanent service in this title or reachable on the appropriate Civil Service List; or one year of permanent competitive service in a title SG-21 or higher and otherwise eligible for transfer.
Duties Description Reporting to the Director of Administrative Services, the Office Services Manager will supervise, analyze and evaluate the Administrative Services Unit’s work; develop recommendations for improving the efficiency of programs and operations; and assist in identifying problems, establishing new work plans and solutions by workflow charting, task analysis and organizational analysis and observation. The incumbent will directly handle the Lease and Space Management functions which includes, but is not limited to:
• Acting as Agency Project Manager and Space Planner on all construction, renovation, and relocation projects involving DCJS space;
• Meeting with program units to determine space requirements based on staff, furniture and special facilities;
• Preparing and presenting project requirements to DCJS Executive Management, Office of General Services (OGS) and Department of Budget (DOB) for approvals;
• Developing floor plans, proposed block outs based on unit requirements, detailed layouts of the space, scope of work documents and schedules of construction work; and
• Maintaining all CAD drawings of DCJS space and updating as necessary for tracking purposes.
In addition, the Office Services Manager will supervise a subordinate staff who are responsible for the following functions: Facilities; Mailroom, Copy Center and Fleet Operations; Records and Asset Management; Purchasing and Budget; Safety and Security; and Telecommunications.
