Salary RangeFrom $102520 to $124801 Annually
Minimum Qualifications Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree and six years of managerial experience in the analysis of complex automated and paper based systems, including the development of full scale System design and redesign work plans including time lines, resource needs analysis and success evaluation criteria. Experience must include managing time, staff and budgetary resources for a large project, monitoring project progress and managing a comprehensive risk assessment program. Experience must reflect the ability to interact with vendors and various internal stakeholders and customers to design, develop, implement and support large-scale applications. Or 10 years of the described experience.
Duties Description The Project Director will direct and coordinate the systems development and implementation activities of teams composed of application development and technical staff, technical and business consultants and system users dedicated to the development of the Real Property System (RPS) v 5. In this capacity, the incumbent will:
• Ensure adequate staffing of subordinate teams for each phase of the project.
• Develop guidelines for the identification and analysis of major business objectives and functions to be supported: the assessment of proposed systems features; and the design, definition and development of systems components.
• Participate in the RPS v 5 Request for Proposal (RFP) process.
• Oversee the development and implementation of the RPS project time lines, including approving any corrective measures to ensure the project milestones are accomplished in a timely manner.
• Direct and coordinate subordinate teams' activities: Oversee the identification and analysis of existing and anticipated business practices and the application design and data structures of existing systems; Coordinate subordinate team assessment of proposed system components and performance of systems design and applications development activities; Develop methods and procedures to govern project assessments of hardware and software requirements.
• Oversee staff development with system installation and implementation activities; coordinate implementation activity for transitioning customers.
• Direct managers responsible for developing comprehensive system testing routines to ensure coordination between the performances of applications development, system integration, system implementation and testing activities.
• Adhere to the Department's codes, rules and regulations.
