Minimum Qualifications Eligible for a lateral transfer, a 70.1 transfer or a 52.6 transfer by having one year of permanent competitive service in an appropriate title; OR
Candidates must be reachable on the appropriate eligible list for Program Research Specialist 2 in Albany. Note: Candidates who are currently on the appropriate eligible list for the Program Research Specialist 2 in Albany need not submit an application for this posting unless they are applying directly as a result of the transfer qualifications listed above.

Duties Description The duties of this position include, but are not limited to, data production in support of policy, performance, and trend analysis. Tasks will include data file development, extraction, and manipulation of large data extracts using statistical and analysis packages; and developing and executing ad hoc and recurring reports designed to support federal reporting, policy analysis and program evaluation.

Additional Comments A full time, permanent appointment will be made. If certified by Civil Service, mandatory reemployment list candidates must be considered first for appointment to this title.
