Duties Description The New York State Governor's Traffic Safety Committee (GTSC) coordinates traffic safety activities in New York State (NYS). The GTSC also works closely with a network of state and local agencies, non-profit organizations and private-sector partners to deliver quality traffic safety projects, services, and information across the state. As a Motor Vehicle Program Manager 1 (MVPM 1) in GTSC, you will be responsible for administrative, operational and policy-making activities associated with the management of traffic safety activities throughout New York State. You would plan, direct and coordinate the development and implementation of NYS’s comprehensive, data-driven Highway Safety Program that incorporates evidence-based strategies to reduce crashes, fatalities and injuries on New York’s roadways.
