Salary RangeFrom $67703 to $85635 Annually
Minimum Qualifications Candidates must be permanent in the Mental Health Program Specialist 2 title, OR be eligible to transfer via Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law by having at least one year of permanent service in a qualifying title within two salary grades of the Grade 23 level. Duties Description The Office of Mental Health (OMH) is currently recruiting to fill a Mental Health Program Specialist 2, G-23 position in the Division of Adult Services and Managed Care, Rehabilitation Services and Care Management Bureau. The Bureau has responsibility for multiple program areas including the OMH licensed mental health program called Personalized Recovery Oriented Services (PROS); the evidenced-based practice model, Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program; and the transition of the Targeted Case Management (TCM) programs to Health Home Care Coordination. The selected candidate will work within the Rehabilitation Services Unit on the PROS program and will be responsible for providing oversight, technical assistance and guidance to provider agencies. Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Oversight of PROS program and other rehabilitation program types within Unit.
• Assist prospective provider agencies in implementing PROS model.
• Provide training and technical assistance to existing PROS programs and other program types as needed.
• Participate in program evaluation of multiple models and develop guidance/training as needed.
• Assist with implementation of HCBS Services and Managed Care.
• Monitor consultant contracts and deliverables as needed.
• Some travel is expected.
