Minimum Qualifications
Reachable on Civil Service Eligible List for Children and Family Services Specialist 1 MG OR
One year of permanent competitive service as a Children and Family Services Specialist 1 MG or eligible for a 70.1 transfer.*
*70.1 Transfer Eligibility: One year of experience in a public, private, not-for-profit or community organization, the mission of which was the advocacy for public assistance recipients of diverse racial, ethnic and cultural backgrounds OR 24 semester credit hours in the study of people of diverse racial, ethnic and cultural backgrounds is required for transfer into this title.

Duties Description Provide oversight and monitoring of contracts with not-for-profit community based organizations and municipalities.
Assist with the development of performance targets, evaluation measures and desired program outcomes to meet the needs to vulnerable children, adults and families.
Assist in the provision of technical assistance in the development and implementation of contracts.
Coordinate with OCFS regional office, local district social services staff and other OCFS staff in conducting on-site reviews of programs.
Review program and data reports to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and fidelity to the program model, where applicable.
Assist in the development of Request for Proposals (RFP).
