Duties Description Reporting to a Classification and Compensation Program Manager, M-4, the incumbent of this position will supervise a team of Classification and Pay Analysts involved with the organizational management activities of assigned agencies. Duties and responsibilities include:

• Reviewing title and salary requests to determine the scope and depth of analysis needed.
• Assigning cases to analysts, and providing guidance and assistance to analysts in fact gathering and analysis.
• Reviewing staff work for completeness, clarity, and soundness of conclusions, and practicality of recommended courses of action.
• Personally conducting the analysis of requests where decision may have major ramifications.
• Overseeing the preparation and approval of classification standards.
• Participating in or conducting conferences with agency and departmental staff to relay determinations.
• Making recommendations to improve Division’s effectiveness.
• Leading major Division’s initiatives and working collaboratively with partners in implementing such initiatives.
• Participating in inter-divisional or departmental committees; and representing the Department at various events.

Assignments may also include various internal administrative tasks such as developing and conducting internal and external training, leading and managing various internal program improvement initiatives, and developing and implementing controls, procedures, and policies.
