52.6 Transfer: You may be eligible for a Section 52.6 transfer to Senior Administrative Analyst, Grade 18 if you have one year of permanent or contingent-permanent service in a Grade 16 or above title designated as administrative under Section 52.6 of the Civil Service Law and all transfer criteria are met. If you have applied already under this option to this posting, you do not need to apply again.

70.4 Transfer: Applicants who have one year of contingent-permanent or permanent competitive service in a Grade 11 or higher; have a Bachelor’s degree, and have taken and passed the Professional Career Opportunities (PCO) examination, the Professional Careers Test (PCT) or Public Administration Transition Test (PATT) may be eligible for transfer under Section 70.4 provided all transfer criteria are met. You must indicate in your application which examination you have taken.
Those applying under this option must complete and submit a form NYS APP , application for New York State Examination.

Section 55B/C Appointment:

• 55B/C eligible candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree may be eligible for appointment to Administrative Analyst Trainee 1
• Employees with one-year of permanent or contingent-permanent non-competitive service pursuant to Section 55B/C of the Civil Service Law, may be eligible for a new 55B/C appointment if they meet the technical requirements for transfer pursuant to Civil Service Law.

Duties Description STANDARD DUTIES: Incumbent reports to Director of Public Information and performs the following procedural, manual and documentation activities: reviews, designs, and controls agency publications and forms in response to program and procedural changes; obtains pertinent information from program, prepares document and submits to program for revision and approval; posts finalized manual items and documents to internet and intranet; monitors, tracks, and analyzes social media marketing initiatives; recommends revision of forms and removal from service; serves as the liaison between program staff and third party vendors for all agency document translations; drafts, designs and edits agency correspondence as needed; reviews organizational policy, administrative and procedural manuals as required; may collect and analyze pertinent data to resolve organizational problems
