Minimum Qualifications Permanent status as a Secretary 1, G-11 and interested in transfer OR Reachable for permanent appointment on the current Civil Service eligible list for Secretary 1, G-11 OR Eligible for transfer via Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
Duties Description Under the direct supervision of the Director of the Bureau of Certification and Systems Management, the incumbent will be responsible for a wide range of secretarial and clerical functions. Duties include, but are not limited to: Monitoring and vetting incoming calls; Managing the bureau’s incoming and outgoing mail; Overseeing equipment maintenance; Preparing general correspondence; Scheduling meetings and recording meeting minutes; Maintaining the filing system; Managing the shared calendar; Monitoring and purchasing supplies; Coordinating/Preparing FOIL request responses; Tracking OC’s; Providing general administrative support.
