Minimum Qualifications One year of permanent, competitive class service as a Information Technology Specialist 2 (Programming) OR reachable on current Civil Service eligible list for the title of Information Technology Specialist 2 (Programming) OR one year of permanent competitive class service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 52.6 or Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
Duties Description The employee will work as an application developer in the CompPay Application Development Group. He/she will assist with daily production support of Comppay systems and processes. He/she will also participate in new and on-going modernization efforts.
The candidate should be familiar with standard development tools such as C#, .NET, ASP.NET, PL/SQL, Oracle Packages, XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery. Knowledge of MVC would also be helpful.
