Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
REASSIGNMENT QUALIFICATIONS: An employee with one year permanent competitive service as an Office Services Manager, Grade 23 is eligible for reassignment to any location where a vacancy exists in the title.
An employee with less than one year permanent service is eligible for reassignment to a different geographic location if reachable for appointment in the new location.
52.6 Transfer Qualifications: This position is designated as administrative and may be filled via administrative transfer under Section 52.6 of the Civil Service Law, provided all transfer criteria are met. Source titles from which transfer may be made must be designated administrative and be Grade 21 or above.
70.1 Transfer Qualifications: An employee with one year of permanent competitive service as a Contract Management Specialist 2 may qualify for transfer pursuant to Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.

Duties Description STANDARD DUTIES:
The Office Services Manager will supervise and direct the staff and operations of the Mailroom, Reproduction, Inserting and Finishing units located in Albany, Building 12 and the Warehouse, Stockroom and Records Center located in Menands. The incumbent will plan, coordinate, direct and evaluate the functions of these units and formulate and recommend policies, plans and procedures to ensure the efficient delivery of services to department staff and offices statewide. The incumbent will manage staff engaged in the receipt, sorting and delivery of mail, packages and bulk items; administer mail service contracts and respond to mailing issues for department staff and programs. The incumbent will also direct the department’s reproduction, inserting and finishing services; serve as the primary liaison with the Office of Technology Services for Data Center print jobs; oversee the receipt, storage and delivery of office furniture, equipment and supplies and administer the department’s records management program.
