Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR APPOINTMENT

Current Department of Labor (DOL) employee with permanent, contingent-permanent or 55b/c service as a Senior Administrative Analyst and interested in reassignment; OR current New York State employee with one year or more permanent, contingent-permanent or 55b/c service as a Senior Administrative Analyst; OR current New York State employee with one year or more of permanent, contingent-permanent or 55b/c service in a position allocated to a Grade 13 and above and eligible for transfer under Section 52.6, 70.1, or 70.4 of the Civil Service Law.

New York State employees with current standing on the Professional Career Opportunity (PCO) eligible list with the score of 100 are encouraged to apply. Successful completion of two-year traineeship leads to appointment as a Senior Administrative Analyst, SG-18.

Duties Description STANDARD DUTIES: Under the direction of the Customer Services Program Specialist 3, you would assist with management and operations of DOL’s Contact Center, which provides one central contact point for all DOL customers with telephone and email inquiries regarding the Department’s or host agency services and programs. You would set up and review organizational structures, establish and evaluate work methods, analyze internal control systems, forecast performance metrics, conduct cost-benefit analysis, and review work distribution. You would also coordinate and update organizational policy, administrative and procedural manuals, design and modify all knowledge databases and assist in the development and implementation of operating systems.
