Minimum Qualifications Successful completion of five college courses in Criminal Justice/Criminology or Public Administration/Political Science, experience preparing written documents that summarize the results of data analyses in tabular, graphic and written format and some experience using Statistical Package for the Social Science(SPSS), Statistical Analysis System(SAS) or Statistical Software(STATA) is required, in addition to permanent service in this title or one year of permanent competitive or 55b/c service in a title SG-16 or higher and otherwise eligible for transfer under Civil Service Law.
Duties Description The Program Research Specialist 2 (CJ) will conduct statistical analysis on crime, arrest, and criminal justice processing utilizing a variety of datasets; respond to requests for information and statistics; prepare annual reports; and assist with preparation of data for the Agency website.
