Minimum Qualifications In order to be considered for permanent appointment, candidates must be reachable on the current Civil Service eligible list or be eligible for reassignment or transfer in accordance with Civil Service Law.

Duties Description This position is located in the Federal Aid Section of the Accounting Bureau. Under the supervision of a Senior Accountant (SG-18), the Office Assistant 3 Calculation duties include, but are not limited to:

• Billing Suspense investigation and appropriate correction;
• Performing close-outs of State and Local projects;
• Checking local bills for federal funding verification, processing necessary modifications in FMIS5;
• Backup for generating FIN 207 and 210’s;
• Backup for daily mailing of modifications and agreements;
• Recording archeological bills received from the State Education Department;
• Filing
• Other related duties as necessary

Responsibilities may include serving a role within the Incident Command System to support the department’s response to regional and statewide emergency situations.
