Eligible for transfer under Section 70.1: Permanent competitive service as a Secretary 2, Accountant Aide, Program Aide, Business Document Specialist 3, Head Mail & Supply Clerk, Head Stores Clerk, Information Processing Trainer, Legal Assistant 1 and Trainee 2, Office Assistant 3, Office Assistant 3 (Calculations), Office Assistant 3 (Human Resources), Payroll Examiner 2, Payroll Specialist 2. Principal Data Entry Machine Operator.
Also any language parenthetic for the above titles. You will be required to demonstrate proficiency in keyboarding.

Duties Description Provide secretarial support for professional staff, which includes typing letters, memoranda, charts; organizing and directing incoming mail and telephone calls; filing; faxing; scanning; creating computer generated reports; scheduling meetings and taking notes as necessary. Provide examination, title and other personnel-related information to employees, program representatives, other agencies and to the public. Maintain the Traineeship Tracking System. Process, maintain and track classification transactions and location changes on NYSTEP & HRIS. Manage all aspects of the Department’s Longevity Service Award Program along with the Trad/Berle Awards. Maintain seasonal employee roster. Manage the Pre-Retirement Seminars for the Department. Run various reports. Maintain the internal and public websites for the Division. Maintain Division organization charts for the Department on the website. Monitor Personnel and Posting mailboxes. Will be required to save information into posting database and assist with preparation and submission of weekly vacancy postings. Provide back-up assistance to the Division FOIL coordinator. Will be the records retention coordinator for Personnel. Will be required to supervise.
