Minimum Qualifications Two years of experience in maintenance or mechanical work under the supervision of a skilled trades-worker or completion of an appropriate two-year technical school course.

Duties Description - Perform a variety of tasks of the buildings and grounds maintenance trades including: repairs to plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems, carpentry, furniture moving and snow removal.
- Assist in the maintenance of trails, parking areas, hunting & fishing access site elements, Department assets and infrastructure.
- Manage a Vehicle Pool of 25 vehicles. Arrange for vehicle inspections, oil changes and repairs to be done in a timely manner.
- Maintain the Property Inventory Database.
- Create and update data in the Maintenance Management System.

Additional Comments Must have valid driver's license or demonstrate the ability to meet the transportation needs of the position. Use of personal protection equipment, including a respirator, will be required. Must be able to negotiate difficult terrain and work in remote areas and adverse weather conditions. Overtime may be required. Weekends and holidays may be required. Must be available for emergency response. Must be available to respond to after-hours emergencies. Must be able to lift and move objects up to 80 pounds. Must have basic computer skills including, MS Word, Outlook and Excel.


This is a temporary position with a duration of 6/15/18 through 11/30/18.
