Minimum Qualifications Candidates must have twelve years of experience involving workers’ compensation. Three years of experience must be at a managerial level. Bachelor’s degree may substitute for four years of experience. Master’s degree may substitute for one additional year of experience. Ph. D may substitute for two additional years of specialized experience.

Duties Description In conjunction with the Project Management Team and business leads from other Board program areas, the Project Director will:
• Create and communicate both OnBoard system and operational vision for eCase and the Claims process throughout the project.
• Champion the OnBoard project which includes setting priorities, having accountability, and driving change within the Board and Claims Operations
• Lead workgroups to identify and resolve issues and ensure cross functional consensus.
• Oversee Claims subject matter experts assigned to the onboard project.
• Provide interpretation of Claims policies and procedures to ensure information is translated effectively between the operational and technical project teams.
• Review OnBoard project deliverables to ensure consistency with project scope.
• Prioritize needs and help the team make appropriate and timely decisions.
• Promote cross-functional collaboration, guide discussions, envision and advocate for viable product solutions.
• Optimize work to ensure the delivery of high-value features within the project timeframe while promoting compliance and minimizing risk.
• Represent the Board in meetings with stakeholders from other state agencies, business, payers, labor and management groups, medical provider, attorneys, etc.
• Serve as the lead for the Claims Operations Organization Change Management functions.
• Ensure staff and Board vendors are comfortable with the changes and can successfully transition from the current to future state.
• Develop transitional and future staffing models for all units under Claims Operations.
• Oversee development of new call center scripts to support the new system and processes for all Board call center lines.
