Minimum Qualifications Promotion – Have one year of permanent competitive service as a Production Control Supervisor, Quality Control Supervisor or General Industrial Training Supervisor (including parenthetics)
Open Competitive – Three years of satisfactory experience in Industrial Supervisory responsibility for manufacturing operations; or five years of satisfactory experience in the supervision and planning of manufacturing operations. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business administration may be substituted for two years’ experience.

Duties Description The Assistant Industrial Superintendent (AIS) is responsible for assisting the Senior Industrial Superintendent with managing the industrial manufacturing location. The AIS is responsible for day-to-day operations. Oversees the procurement of raw materials, manufacturing into finished goods and reviews and approves procurement specifications, prepares and analyzes reports, complies bulls of materials, exercises supervision over all civilian and incarcerated individuals working within Corcraft at the facility,. This AIS is an important part of the facility management team. The AIS ensures that operations run smoothly, safely and efficiently. Issues are identified and resolved timely.
