Minimum Qualifications The New York State Senate is seeking motivated, organized and detail-oriented individuals to fill two Accounts Payable Clerk positions in the Fiscal Office.
The minimum requirements for an Accounts Payable Clerk include a minimum accounts payable experience of 2 years.
Other qualifications may include:
•Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, business acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
•Software proficiency: Knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounts payable software
•Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Analytical skills: Strong quantitative and analytical abilities
Duties Description The Accounts Payable Clerks is responsible for:
•Audits, reviews, and processes invoices and vouchers associated with purchase orders and agreements in SFMS (Senate Financial Management System)
•Works with vendors and staff on payment issues
•Opens the mail for the AP Office.
Additional Comments Salary range is between $40,000 to $45,000, commensurate with education and experience.
